I was imbued at an early age with an attraction
to color and a sense of wonder about nature and the mountains. Some mornings
when the fog rolled up the canyon to the hills where I was raised it would
cover the prairie and all of Denver below us. It looked like an ocean and
those special events in nature have always excited and delighted me.
It wasn’t until many years later when I worked on the Navajo reservation
that I began using a camera more earnestly to record some of those special
colorful sunrises and sunsets. Now 20 years later, digital photography allows
me to be a kid all over again with the wonderful & frustrating options
available. I hope you enjoy my photography.
